All about spin versus delivery "Just the results." Do they they even read their own mottos?

Reports of further delays in 10 nm

Therein lies the crux of the problem for the company. Intel's case for its process superiority would have been so much more compelling if it actually had shipped 10 nm products. Samsung has been making 10 nm Exynos and Snapdragon parts since Q1 of this year. TSMC followed in Q2 with the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) A10X for iPad Pro and the A11 for the new iPhones."

Intel doing a roadshow and can't even bother to give SS a fake one layer fancy patterned wafer? Dang TMG/LTD/PTD really must be run by idiots if they can't do that, no wonder 10nm is such a FUBAR

With this performance, when employees once again question minimal raises, firings as inconsistent with increased executive compensation, BK will explain he was once again forced to 'accept' another double digit raise, because as he explains it, he isn't involved in the decision, and the board just 'does it to him'.

Andy Bryant, who should have left a decade ago, will continue on the helm.

Good grief that is one sad photo of Stacy Smith and the article really highlights the sad state of Intel in 2017 and beyond (getting worse). I'm really surprised by how poor Intel's performance has been.

Love the forced smile of soon to be leaving SS, enjoying one last spin on intels dime. Smile SS you won't have to tell people how 10nm is killing margins till late next year, you can delay your retirement and collect a few more quarters of million dollars pay.

Let's just revisit how spectacular intels performance to goal has been

As Intel competitors take the technology lead Intel will face significant new issues with IP limitations as the competitors develop technologies years before Intel. As I've said, Intel is in big trouble. TMG has been under-performing for years... In the old days at Intel, if TMG fell this far behind, there would not be ACTs to reduce cost, there would be accountability and VPs / Senior VPs and lots of others would be told to find new jobs outside of Intel. What does the new Intel do, not much because the "slips" have become the new norm. It is a sad time for Intel.

Yesterday, in Beijing, Intel said its 10 nm process was the best in the world and it would be releasing 10nm FPGAs – adding that it would not be announcing a time-line for their availability for the time being.
