Would someone please tell us what MRES stands for. This organization is great for anachronyms but most people assume everyone knows what it means. Thanks!!

What is MRES?
MRES is not the sickest. It's just that they lost the mufflers the employees start snitching. There are many other sick place in Dell with a--holes directors.
It used to take 11 bays for 1 petabyte of capacity now it only takes 1/2 bay for same capacity.
There is no money to be had in storage.
Storage is down because of mis-steps and bad decisions at all levels, from Goulden on down, de-emphasizing all other product development to push Cyclone forward, pissing off customers and engineers alike. Goulden leaving is only the first shoe to drop, guaranteed to be others.
I don't know about MRES in toto. But I do know a part of it which is BDC storage. This is the most political and technically incompetent team. It is good news that the head of this group was fired a couple of weeks back. But that will not completely address the problem as people in his team who have abused the system are still there. I am an unfortunate engineer who worked with these vipers for 2.5 years. I have never seen such crass and abusive people in my whole career.
