MESSAGE FROM SITE LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
POSITIVE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS ACTION PLAN | GLENDALE
Dear Colleagues,
The Site Leadership Council (SLC) has analyzed the PER survey results and the comments received during the PER focus groups. The information was used to develop an action plan, targeting two key areas the SLC and Managers can positively influence at our site to improve positive employee relations.
The two key areas we are focusing on this year are Career Growth and Pride.
• Career Growth – We will be asking all people managers to have a career planning discussion with their employees. A career planning discussion is different from a development plan, which typically focuses on developing in areas where there’s opportunity for growth, such as behaviors or skill gaps. A career plan focuses specifically on the employee’s short-term and long-term career goals and identifies steps they need to take to achieve their career aspirations. A Career Plan may align to an employee’s overall Development Plan, however, the two plans are different.
• Pride – People managers will start holding quarterly team building activities. Please share your team building ideas with you manager; be creative and have some fun!
