The CTO got the bullet two weeks ago and they've spent the day after the birthday celebration getting rid of anyone who was left over. Who needs R&D at Dell when Inside Sales will push any crap they can get their hands on? And crap will be provided, very uninspiring DPD org chart these days. It'll be hilarious when the Hopkinton brain dead get booted out by their new masters in Sales because Rubrik and Commvault are easier to sell.

S Manley still has CTO DPD listed, maybe he is taking some time to rewrite his resume. He is a good man, he will land somewhere. It is amazing how quickly things are moving now little by little.
The OP was referring to DPD, not the overall EMC: StephenM left, and now more people from that organization as well. Probably about a third.
It was fun while it lasted.
That woman with a voice that sounds like glass shard rubbing against one another will be doing her best to simulate a human emotion during the next DPD all hands.
