I'm a new employee to EDMC and knew about the transition before accepting the job. I like the job so far and hope it will last. I have worked in the industry and seen things like this before and it usually doesn't end well. I'm very stressed about the transition because aside from this site or what is posted in the news online the company doesn't give much information but things seem to trickle out slowly. From my understanding Argosy is first to be sold to Dreamcenter and that's happening now. The CEO of EDMC has tried to reassure us our jobs will remain intact but once we are sold they have no control over that and I understand. In a way I feel information is being withheld though because there's no updates regularly. It's on everyone's mind. If anyone has any legitimate information or conculsions they can draw based on what they know or have heard from reliable places it would be appreciated. No trolling please.

I'll make sure to be extra polite to you when I see you greeting me at the door.
Plenty of people with Pitt and Penn state degrees working at Walmart. Lol. U should ask around. Whole education business is a con.
How's that feeling of despair doing. Just think of all the folks you conned when yer working the door at Walmart.
I think we've heard enough about getting resumes out NOW. Shut up
Poor thing - you were duped just like the students try continue to enroll. My advice, take this off your resume and start looking for a new job NOW!!
I really dont understand these people that are burying their heads in the sand. It's been a year since my position was eliminated. How does anyone think that somehow they are different? Im just stunned at the level of denial. This business model will NOT survive. You WILL be out of a job, it's just a matter of when. I believed for almost 10 years that somehow it would be better. It won't
Get it through your head.
Op I'm reluctant to say this but what kind of a delusional, easily led dope are you?
You got duped
Ask any employee from Westwood how it turned out.
