I only know about my own situation. There is a pay decrease and AT&T then gives us an additional lump sum cover the difference from what we were making at DXC. I'm not quite sure why it's done this way. I have a few theories from a business standpoint, but it's just speculation.

Health benefits cost about a third of what they do in DXC.

Vacation days are something like 23 days for 5 years or less service. (none of that pto stupidity).

Sick days are taken without having to use vacation days.

You seniority with DXC carries over to AT&T. (as far as vacation counting anyway)

Your salary takes a bit of a hit, but they compensate with a lump sum check to make up the difference. (every year, according to ATT human resources)

Contractual bonus -haven't heard of anything like that.

Benefits include-free DirecTV, 50% off home internet connectivity. 50% off at the AT&T store. Probably other stuff I'm not aware of.

401k increments monthly (I think)

Bonus eligible.

We will be contracted to the account we support. If the account goes away, probably so do we.

To me, the 401k thing makes the transition worth it, even if the job only lasts a year or two.

Hope that answers all your questions.
