heard of 2500 staff layoffs in DXC India in end-November and December

HR is working overtime to get the paperwork ready. Huge cleanup of staff is happening in DXC with quite a few large projects exiting. this news was verbally confirmed with senior management

get ready for the fireworks before 1-Jan-2018

this will include supervisors, lower level managers, service management teams, DXC internal support e.g. Bionics, NDGM, SDEX, project co-ordinators, fake program managers, monitoring team, batch scheduling team, junior testers (software development), junior coders (software development), tools teams, portal team, reporting team, incident Impact teams, PEM teams, dedicated RTOP teams, dedicated Shift management teams, fake Account delivery managers, etc

The list communicated on the Thursday before you are told to leave, at least that is now its done in the US and why should you get any notice since you tool a lot of our jobs from us

any sort of compensation since the news broke that Shell was not renewing its contract. What do you expect a raise because we lost the account?

If you were dedicated to the shell account you better start looking fast, DXC doesn't find there employee's other work within the company, its ALL on the employee.

Our company has sh*t for brains in that area.

Any news from Cyberjaya Malaysia? The management has not been forthcoming about any sort of compensation since the news broke that Shell was not renewing its contract. The service will be moving to TCS (Tata) in India. About 600-800 staff will be affected at all levels. We will see the end of Shell Account and our jobs by end of June 2018.

I have already seen an earlier thread from a manager indicating the same. So this must be true. Is this 2500 from HPE or CSC or HPE/CSC. On the HPE side, there are 8000 employees and even 50% of it would be 1250 which is ~ 15(the same figure the manager had indicated in his post). This is a serious problem :-( How is the job market outside? Is it good for people with over 10 years experience? Looks like some real serious resume floating and action needed from our end...

BTW when is the list planned to be communicated.
