Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

I have been unfreezed & refreezed a couple of times, they kept getting a bat & balls for my shape, i think they were wanting to shape us all into some mindless puffy tacos who would not speak up. Last time i was unfreezed i decided to change.......i changed jobs & was refrozen as a happier individual. Take your change,your processes, your culture crap, your low stock, your TIL videos, Senn Delaney, your town halls, your high grading exercises, & go fly a kite. Those bare knuckle fist fights have done wonders for our stock price. Farewell Chesapeckers!

Does anyone remember when you actually came to work to work and not hold hands and tell life stories and make everyone feel warm and fuzzy?!?! Neither do I!

Here is the official “prayer”straight off of the first floor of building 15 today.

You literally cannot make this stuff up.

I called the hotline to protest after my unfreezing and it went nowhere as that process is clearly for senior management to target who the want to ax. Pure corruption.

Is anyone else uncomfortable with this prayer being shoved down our throats? Not appropriate.

I'm saving this one for the day I hand in my resignation: "farewell Chesa-peckers!"

Someone stop the SD madness !!!

Sad but true. SD is sticking this place dry of cash. This place is spiraling out of control. Focus is on anything but profitability. When EC members are doing entry level SD training rather than EC level work - it's easy to see. There's s problem at CHK. SAD!
