Times must really be bad there. I quit IBM a month ago and still waiting on my payment of unused vacation. I call the employee service center but they can't help. They claim it needs to be addressed my management. First and second line management not returning any calls or emails. IBM is just pathetic and glad I am out at least.

You won't get paid for unused leave unless you have documentation that you were unable to take the vacation due to your work schedule. My advise to you is move forward and don't look back. IBM is the absolute worse company I have ever worked for and it took me about a year to get over my post tramatic stress caused by working at that company. Most people that worked for IBM and left will not talk about the stress and pain that was caused by working there due to fear of retaliation. The only good thing that came out of my IBM nightmare is the fact that I now work for a great company and really appreciate my management and the leaders. Since you worked at IBM, any job you get going forward will be a wonderful experience. Life outside of IBM is a wonderful place to be.
I quit IBM effective Sept. 30. I received my last paycheck inclusive of vacation before my last day.
Sorry, I know that doesn't help you. I had given them a months notice so my manager started processing everything as soon as I informed her. I left on good terms and trained my replacements.
