Having worked at Intel for 17 years, and Act'd out last year. I got the opportunity to see a Great company, gutted. Employees betrayed, lied to, promised, tricked, and so much more.
That part of my life is over now. I too, truly hope that my remaining friends survive.
Work environment, employee development, trust and morale were way better 10 or even 5 years ago. If you are talking about stock price, yeah this is the highest it will get for a while. Huge plunge coming on Friday.
Having worked at Intel for 22 years, and leaving in August, I can tell you, it's been better; much better. What once was a large company that felt like family working toward a common goal, is now just another large company where Sr Management (and I refuse to use the word Leadership) is disconnected by those that make the company run. I'm still a share holder so I hope for the financial best. But for friends who work at Intel, I truly hope things change soon.
