Ally layoffs confirmed and began October 23 with a number of employees let go without warning. It is called Southeast Cost Reductions. Yet they've just brought in a number of new hire recent graduates and still hiring for positions in that region within the same departments where layoffs occurred.

What would be needed to prove company wide age discrimination? It appears they targeted a select group of employees based on age or years of service no matter how the employee was graded. It really is depressing to see people that have given their lives to the company to just get shown the door. And, to those who negatively comment on the employees that have been let go, well, shame on you. You're youthful ignorance is showing through
Not surprised at the low brow comment from typical arrogant current Ally employees that I have worked with for 15 years. Keep drinking the kool-aid and wait until it's your turn to go. Other banks and captives are chipping away at the company year after year and one day there will be nothing left.
What kind of low life trolls people who just lost their job
Cry baby!
The company didnt even have the common courtsey to announce the layoffs to all their employees at the same time. Actually, news began filtering out yesterday but still no company wide notification. Here is something that may interest discrimination attorneys, most of the layoffs seem to be mature employees that have many years of service. I smell age discrimination. Ally's tag line is "Do it right" unless your firing people. Didn't Ally just announce they were spending multi millions of dollars on a new highrise in Charlotte NC? Great leadership
