I am not getting any interviews, so still stuck with this place. I need paycheck to feed my family, so just leaving is not an option. There are days where I am so close to saying f--- you to my manager but then mortgage, food etc stare at me and ask me not to. But there is no motivation whatsoever. In my previous companies, I have been more motivated to contribute, make a name for myself and all the good things. There are times I just play games on my phone during calls and phase out. I am doing whatever am asked..but nothing more. But this is taking a toll on my self confidence. I don’t know if I will be able to do other jobs..or get that confidence back. Perhaps that is why am not getting any interviews? Mind f--- on Monday morning.

Find someone to talk with.
Articulate the dilemma to your wife and family. Consider seeing a medical professional .
Play games on your phone! What a moron. It is not DXC's fault you cannot be arsed doing anything. The fact you can do that show that not only are you not contributing but nobody expects you too either. It is DXC's fault though that you and many like you can get away with doing nothing for so long. God help your next employers and employees.

When I was there I DID say F&ck-off to my manager and it felt great...greater still is when he took me to HR for saying it and I had three sheets of evidence to show he was a tw*t to his none and HR sided with me! Great feeling and he is still a tit! Long gone now and retired, just waiting to hear the news that DXC has folded and been buried....sh--e company to work for now.
Disregard first response. If you are stuck in he11, keep moving. You have to get through this and emerge somewhere and that place will be better than where you are right now.

This has little to do with DXC or your precious self-confidence and career.
What's going on now is so far above your comprehension I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I think of your future.
But.....it's all on you, because while you were sitting in front of the idiot box watching American Idol and Home reno shows, the world was changing.
And for those still clueless, it truly is too late.
