Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

I love the let’em Hang out and dry

Attitude. They give you vacations but expect to return swamped by the zero zero zero support of the ppl meant to puck up the slack but if you tried pulling that you’d be canned

State street loves to foster hostility animosity and divisiveness amongst the staff

Divided we fall....

I meant to add I have a lot of family members that work in big top corporations and all experience layoffs bad management bad morale but state street has an extra level of insidious badness that takes it to a whole different level. It’s like the having the Great Recession every single day still

Unhealthy to operate like that

Keep buying back the stock J pretend you’re nothing more than an overpaid bean counter

Not an ounce of intellect on how to grow a business

I agree I have always been made to feel odd for going away on a vacation

Even within my first year out of college they contacted me low level me during vacation

Really?

What a joke

Yea excuse me let me put my popcorn down and help you out cause I have nine months experience

I’m sure with my new team I will be fired

I actually take my vacation days and for the level amount and quality of work I do

I deserve it every single day!

@PTYKcVN-1mla I believe that many workers at State Street take time off and are eventually fired. I don't believe that they really want anyone to use their vacation at all. Since I have worked for State Street for many years, I have experienced a much different attitude and culture towards the average employee. Management at the top of this company have no idea of the struggles of the average worker and the real financial consequences of these continual layoffs and globalization of many of the positions.

Yea and they’re the ones not picking up the slack of the person away which is why when I return from my much needed and legal vacation I’m swamped

It’s realky a joy to return to new work and the work you left behind and the work for the slackers now away

Unrealistic expectations pushed and pushed until you crack and leave

I tested the waters and got a few nibbles now it’s time to legit look for a new job this one is killing me

You forgot to mentioned the Pets of the Bosses.

The ones given the easy assigments, the ones who never have to work a weekend when its needed.

The ones who seem to have no problem getting time off
