It's ridiculous the time and effort wasted, presenting products to all involved, determining whether a product is fit for production. A more productive use of time would be to streamline the process, so more effort is spent getting the idea listed or sold to our buyers. That should be our priority, but we prefer to talk in circles internally. It's such a colossal waste of time and there is nothing objective or quantitatively meaningful about it.

A$$ kissing talent (TW) is not a substitute for design talent. That was painfully obvious in the first 5 minutes. The sad question is how long will we get tortured with ineptitude.

Our company is suppose to hire professionals, right?...start treating them that way. Ownership, trust, and accountability should be the modus operandi. All of our needless hierarchy approval milestones need to be eliminated.
Yep, it's a collosal and ongoing waste of time, especially when we have to drag that idiot Hot Wheels "design" VP up to speed beforehand. Woot! Talentless, useless, clueless and spineless. We waste all that time getting him "onboard" and in full agreement up front, then in the very next meeting he caves when any fool in the room expresses any doubts, and then throws US designers under the bus. "Agreed, I think you guys really need to rethink this one." This jackarse Yes man wastes more time and demotivates more people than I can keep track of. The problem is that we present to each other like insecure 14 year olds who need constant approval.
And everyone’s comment needs to be debated constantly to nth degree even if they have no idea or context to where the project is currently at. Do you all realize this has to do with the dysfunctional organizational structure we have? There’s no clarity of who owns what. Everyone wants to be in each other’s business. Thanks for your opinion but since you’re not responsible for x we don’t have to listen to you. Then you have some accountability. With everyone reacting to every tom d--k and Harry’s comment the accountability is hopelessly dispersed giving rise to the likes of MSnore. If each group had decisive power then why would you need snore unless it’s actually a test for something entirely new.
