From my experience the Americans seem to have a lot more knowledge, but they are probably an older generation than the Indians.

that's not a lie. My boss is Indian, my colleague's boss is Indian, the department lead is Indian, the regional lead is Indian in India and we are not in India and they hire/promote 80/20 Indian not in India/whatever else. what can we say, Dell loves Indian, they make great managers, pressure cook subordinates while treating the VIPs like king.
It's amazing the kind of lies people like to spread about Indian managers and Indian culture. I have worked with Indian managers before and never had any problem. Are they paid kickbacks based on the number of reports ? Of course not; that is just plain BS. But it's very amusing to hear such comments.
Also, they don't hire 75% Indians in India; they hire Indians 100 %. If someone from America wants to settle in India, they can get hired too if they can compete with local talent. It is just how they hire 100 % Chinese in China.
Indian Managers love to take jobs to India? Why ? Because they are getting between 5 to 10% of the salary of each employee in kickbacks in cash. In USA they cannot do that and in India it is very easy to ask from the employees. This is the norm in India!!!
If you want the safety of your job in USA pay their families in India !!!!! They will hire you for the jobs/projects you like and will protect your job.
- Indian Managers hire 75% of Indians and 25% others. They found out if you stay in these numbers, no one will notice for any wrong doing.

start your own business everyone. Even at lesser pay the freedom and satisfaction is unbeatable. Why settle for a company that gives you the boot and more expensive trainings to your ex-boss who harassed you?
Call me a pessimist, but I don't see how the average person's situation is improved by a return to the Gilded Age. Most will lose their jobs , homes and so called dream/s of having family etc.

A precious few will survive this, and they will be those whose identity and worth isn't wrapped up in their job or title. For the rest, this is the end of the line. Letting go of their material goods and status will be too much for them, as they are shallow and hollow people who have nothing but those things.

This is going on everywhere, not just Dell. Have a good read under "Latest Posts" for an eye opener. Everyone seems to think their company is the only place this is going on. Myopic.
