They block IP addresses for number of reasons - if your Tor node has issues in the pass its likely blocked here - same goes to VPN, most of my VPN addresses cannot post here, I am using a large VPN provider though. I do not trust anyone when it come to privacy, I take care of myself on my own. My two cents, if you find this board to s--- - just move one - you have zero options as every service sh--s their pants after corporate legal departments go after them - I dont even know how layoff dot com manages to stay up - they will not be around for much longer

@xvd Once again, the immortal words of Samuel L. Jackson apply: English, motherfcker, do you speak it?

I really hope English is your second or third language.

@tay trolling must be sh--ty job

Public info about thelayoff.com http://www.geoipview.com/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thelayoff.com&x=0&y=0 tells it to be registered in MountainView (with some back list from deeper analysis). They claim to be bound to disclose data only per legal request which happens only in a case of serious malicious stupidity like someone leaking company IP or doing any criminal activity or what they describe as personal threats. They claim to log geoip only for ad targeting not to sell any of that data to third party.

Common sense logic is that some stuff can be sort of guessed by any company representative comparing profiles and any current info of the current layoff list with posts content.

Tor nor VPN can not protect against carelessness, so be careful and from my angle I would suggest anyone to use respect and thoughtfulness.

I'd suggest all to use Tor optionally over VPN, as thelayoff.com is not to be trusted, based on history of big tech companies like one not so long ago where they were conspiring against employees and then class action lawsuit won it. On top of history, hacks are always possibility.

Right. Because HR can match IPs to names. Right.

People here are getting more retarded every day.
