Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Modem Design

FYI - A few months back we hired an SVP from Qualcomm (mods deleted my post where I used names, so I am reposting this without names). Anyhow, the SVP was stunned with poor design and amateur-level mistakes on the architecture level. Now Murthy wants a redo and is asking the SVP to come up with a proposed solution for moving forward.

Murphy is just looking for an excuse to shut this down.

even if he/she propose it won't change as the products are pushed out more than two years from the original schedule... by then all the markets would be filled by the competitors; no place to get in.

Actually, Apple got 5G samples from both Intel and Qualcomm, and they were completely satisfied with Intel's solution but told Qualcomm that they would not accept such a faulty product and that they are nowhere close to getting their modem market ready.
