Dream Center Meeting in Pittsburgh

The Dream Center purchase is officially done, and major changes are in process of being implemented throughout the entire AI organization. This information came directly from an EDMC corporate management team member yesterday after a meeting with the Dream Center executives in Pittsburgh.

The Dream Center was delighted to be informed the SACS accreditation issues had been resolved, which puts AI back in good standing. The accreditation issue had raised a concern at one point for the Dream Center and that‘s why the purchase took longer than expected.

AI accreditation is a key objective for the DC executives in 2018 in terms of implementing major leadership and management changes to avoid future SACS accreditation issues that have the potential to financially impact the organization. Major leadership/management changes are definitely being pursued heavily in this area of the AI organization including many other areas.

Multiple campus closures were also discussed in the meeting along with faculty reductions, adjuncts, class reductions, streamlining, and major leadership changes throughout the entire AI organization!

The Dream Center executives were very direct and to the point during the meeting in terms of leading by excellence, and addressing the issues that AI has been faced with for years both financially and leadership wise.

The DC executives are a group of shrewd executives the mean business, and please do not under estimate the leadership prowess of the DC team!!!

Please update you resumes so that you are not in a surprise situation in 2018!

I hope they actually ask the “little people” who have been working their butts off while the managers and presidents stay inside their office with their doors closed.

Management at my campus is terrible too. Will Dream Center have a functioning HR department? Edmc and the campus I'm at never have.

Management will have to change in order for culture to change. Management here is terrible from top to bottom.
