I work in tech and found out I was laid off last week. 1400 people have been laid off since November. They are hiring temp workers to do the work.
Not true. 155 laid off in the San Francisco office just last week. All Tech roles. The company over-invested and is in heavy cost-cutting mode
There have been layoffs, but not in tech (at least in McLain). Tech investment at Capital One is definitely growing.
