yes, that guy in US has made a plan to lay off a bunch here in Canada before the sale in Nov
The manager told us that we are high cost and garbage... indicates we will get chopped.
The deal will be done by end of November and expect many lay-offs especially the guys being paid more than $70k salary. Recently they merged the labs management to North American, to save one job but putting others on the line
many jobs on the line, very high cost, no revenue, no profit
Sounds about right. It's a wing of the business that can survive on its own. Hopefully NOV or GE will pick it up and make it shine.
