I heard there was a hiring freeze on FCTs. Any rumors on what the plan is for this position?

The fct positions are still being filled as we just got a new one. I went through 2 rounds of interviews for the FTM position only to be told they wouldn't be making a decision until December. I wouldn't be surprised if they just had one per area instead of two. They love overworking and underpaying their employees.
@gcng - The drug test comes after you apply for the req. It's just like getting a new job.
Hi all! I'm a front store cashier, have been for about a year and a half, when I got hired there was no drug test and I smoked pretty often, but I've stopped within the last 4 months or so. I applied to work as a pharm tech about a month ago, and I've completed all of my phase 1 modules and have yet to go under any actual training. The PIC put me on the shift to work back there Friday (I'm assuming just to work the register, from what I have been told). I'm confident I would pass a drug test if made to, but there's that nagging voice of course that's worried lol. If I was supposed to take one (which I thought all pharm techs did) I surely would have taken one already, no?
There will be layoffs again this November as there were last year at this time. Know that this is the culture of our business and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.
Word on the street is that there are going to be massive layoffs in December. Right before Christmas, what a caring company.
