If you really want to know about layoffs just ask your boss - you'll get a 'no clue answer' and he'll black list you, at least here in Minneapolis.

I left on my own, there were no layoffs. Ameriprise offered me limited career growth opportunities. Our performance reviews were super generic and salary reviews are basically predetermined regardless of actual performance - you will get something that the mgr already has in mind (unless you have performance issues)...
The good thing is that you do not get layoffs - I guess Tech had some layoffs but I cannot talk about that as I was not in Tech.
