Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

The decadence of Intel during the past 4-5 years is astounding

The long decay during the BK regime includes: downgrading of RCG hires from top tier1 schools to tier3 or below, complete and utter lack of integrity and transparency of management all the way from MCM at the top to most SLMs and FLMs, import of massive amounts of H1Bs and L1s from third world countries who wouldn't even be considered by other companies, outsourcing of equally massive amounts of jobs to subpar low cost geos.

In the last 5 years intel has wasted in excessive of 50 billion on thrusts that have all failed.

The core x86 business continues to proved obscene level of profits that have enabled the company to continue the waste, but not for much longer.

Intel has lost the manufacturing leadership at 14nm and will be surpassed at 10nm. They have lost the advantage of scale as the ARMy has surpassed them.

Without scale and technology the only thing intel could compete on would be innovation, cost, and speed and we know those are three things intel absolutely has never delivered on.

More great ACTs are assured aren’t they 😉

Good, honest, hard-working execs and employees have been leaving, and continue to leave the company en masse since 2012-2013 as Intel's eventual demise under the stupidity of BK became apparent and inevitable. They have been replaced by moronic opportunists such as Murthy and his Qcom henchmen at the exec level, and cheap, subpar H1Bs, URMs, RCGs and low cost geos at the working bee level.

How does it end?

No one in leadership questions the actions of BK and what is left of MCM.

All are focused on their own APB, RSU account, and of course time to sabbatical.

Someone who worked at Intel during AG, CRB or even PSO days and came back now wouldn't even be able to recognize Intel as the same company. And not in a good way.
