Layoffs? Definitely not in the DC. There's about 6 million new people in the last 3 weeks.
Target isn't going to do an official layoff. They are managing out many employees now to be able to hire college grads. Unless you're on the list, and you'd probably know by now, don't worry about it.
FYI Target has actually increased head count in MN since the layoffs of 2015.
