Hello all,

I got firing from Intel Corp (Israel) at July 18 due to a new manager that didn't liked me. of course he didn't mentioned this but the official reason is my lack in technical skills and non commitment. This was totally Bulls*** :(

I was on Intel Campus for approximately for 5 years (2.5 years as contractor employee and another 2.5 years as Intel Student).

My firing was not right, I didn't had any comment about my work and skill what so ever,

on the contrary - I was good worker, team member. All of my focals are Successful, got lots of good recognition.

Ask my self and lots of others co-workers WHY? and they all said the same (I know when I hear hypocrisy...) that they can't understand why I got fired..

I tried to do all that I can to make the Truth come to life - but no success. their are over powered the little worker.

Got an Open-Door procedure and also there (With a someone from the Legal department) .. and also their -> no luck.

Just to clarify - this new Manager, not enough the he got me fired, he also manage to put an IR label to my personal record in Intel, which from all of my understanding equals to that I won't be able to return to Intel Corp as their employee no matter what - Iv'e been marked :/

Their system is messed up - I know buy there are some good things there.

all of that issue because of one new manager that knew me only for 4 months.

Small Question if anyone here maybe will know..

Is it possible to redraw this IR tag that I got ?

Fat cats at grade 10, 11, 12 and higher will be untouched as every single one of these guys are so useful and productive, nobody has retired in their chair or begun to have Alzheimer's set in! 🤣

Layoffs in finance across the board. Up to 30% and much of the work is moving to Costa Rica

Layoffs will not be announced before earnings. It is a corporate policy to not release news (good or bad) during the blackout period. Layoff announcements will be shortly after earnings. SMG is different with different policies.

He also fired 15K+ dedicated employees while spending $25 million to hire pompous idiots like Murthy.

@jnq - Agreed. He tries so hard to make Intel look hip and cool (with very limited success I might add), but takes money away from the stuff that really matters (STS and ISEF are good examples). He's just a clueless loser who thinks he's the $hit.

"Why do I need to pay people to leave?" actual quote from the sociopath BK during 2016 Q2 BUM.

That should be enough for anyone to question why you are working at Intel or would ever want to work there.

@jaa - Layoffs have not been announced (and may never be announced publicly due to all the bad press Intel got after ACT) but you are an HR shill trying to do damage control here. Back to your cube, carpet dweller. You have no power here!

Exactly who will be is unknown. So, managers are mentally preparing their every report with idea that they maybe impacted by restructuring layoffs . Suggesting to look at jobs available around Intel.

Quiet redeployment IP, cost cutting across the board, but wasteful spending at GR10 and above continues

Who is being laid off? As has been the case for the past 3 years, honest, hardworking employees who don't like to play politics. Only way to survive at Intel is to become a professional brown-noser and a$$ kisser. Real skills and innovative thinking are secondary, and most of the time, a liability as your managers will perceive you as a threat. This is the hard, brutal truth and sad state of affairs at BK's Intel.

@ysu - Agreed. MCM in panic mode and already many employees in SMG have received their notices. Expect the rollout to the rest of the divisions during the next 2 or 3 weeks. Total hc reduction of at least 7% but could be as high as 10%. There won't be a public announcement, maybe unless analysts press the issue during the earnings call.

If Q3 report is going to be that bad, then there would have been a pre-announcement by now. Only reason there will be layoffs is because the pathetic MCM thinks hard working employees are a liability.

Huge layoffs to be announced after an appalling Q3 earnings report the week after next.
