I expect this happen any day now that Intel lab is mostly Indians!
Intel is resembling IBM.
The only output seems to be paper and PowerPoints. Products? Not so much.

More propaganda and just another "shiny object" from the clown to try to prop up the stock price some more and distract from AMD and Nvidia gains.
I think stuff like this is a good idea. Innovation is crucial in this industry, so the more we invest in it, the better.
Interesting article. Intel Labs actually create some cool things, that for the most part, rarely see the light of day. I was always amazed on how many black holes of research were going on at Intel.
As all the other great innovations from Intel Labs, this will stay in the lab and won't ever see the light of day in a commercial product. Anybody remember the single-chip cloud computer from about 10 years ago? If Intel couldn't deploy that and got its lunch eaten by Nvidia in parallel computing, good luck with deploying quantum computers. Intel's siloed and sick NIH culture will take care of nipping any good or innovative idea at its root.
