Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

~90% (Director's + Super techies + Managers) have joined BDC without any interview. They qualified for the job because either they are relative or have worked in past or belong to same communities.

How did these people end up as techies. I know the older guy from emc who was all manager. Manipulating head count using some US influence was his forte.

You must be joking. These two techies are far removed from these technical forums. They are a bunch of posers who haven't and can't write code. Their strength is politics and sycophancy.

Are these super techies involved in any open source stack development and other technical forums.

BDC storage group will be merged with EMC mres. Some of the often mentioned useless fellas will be junked. Heard they are already crawling.

Well with the Storage CTO supposedly in their pocket anything can pass muster.

Hope super techies and super directors are reading these posts.

The two super techies in BDC are shameless liars. After their previous trip to Hopkinton they unleashed a whole bunch of false claims and self praise in an open all hands. They were talking about how people in Hopkinton praised them wherever they went for their migration solution. They claimed they were mobbed like celebrities even in corridors by all and everyone who wanted to know the recipe of their secret sauce. The techies started bragging in all hands that they with their witticisms and super technical insights even shut the mouth of the product management head of MRES. And the team members of this guy came around and praised these super techies for checkmating their boss. It is nerve wrenching to listen to this crap told shamelessly in front of 150+ people. Is there no accountability and check on such pathetic behavior. I feel ashamed to be part of this team of liars.

BDC is the worst place I have ever worked. My observation before I left this stinking place full of favoritism. Even new college hires are suffocating here.

Following are the ways to survive here:

1) Belonging to the community of your manager/director? If so, nothing better than this.

or

2) Align with your corrupt, unethical, incompetent, liar, shameless manager/director.

Majority of people think life is just about a good job, high salary and the accumulation of material possessions. Some people are running another that illusion of success until they die and eventually they realize they have never been truly happy... welcome to human conditioning

Funny that you guys think only BDC leaders are incompetent overpaid a--kissers. More than three quarters of Dell leadership population shares the same behavior. it is part of our highly regarded culture code in leadership. *laughs in paid vacation around the world in the name of strategizing

This is awful and below the belt from QA. They are forgetting that outgoing director only hired them and now they are openly bad mouthing him and divulging his private conversations.

Who are these two directors and techies?

There seems to be fierce competition among the LEFTOVERS to flatter and align (s---) with the new management.. finding innovative ways to bad mouth the fallen leader to the new management. QA is leading the game here. They are nothing but bunch of suc___s. Once a s always s.

Super techies what a bunch of jokers these two are. Their high arrogance is inversely proportional to their technical skills.

There will be many layoffs in BDC storage. Plan is to clean up this place before start of Q1 by January.
