Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

CHK employees and the culture is toxic

This whole company needs to be SOLD. CHK employees and the culture is TOXIC. It was toxic 4 years ago and it hasn't changed. Most of the employees here are the SAME toxic people that now only work harder to focus on running down anyone new to chk in the last 4 years - rather than doing their job. Just a fact. You see it in every department.

So much this, @PFTfaOF-1otm. There are good people working at Chesapeake, but they are overshadowed by those who have managed to keep their jobs through nepotism and a---kissing, and are now working hard to make sure nobody new is their competition. This is bringing the company down.

Never will find myself working for such a conniving company. Just did a 20 page research paper on everything unethical about the company. Good luck to its current employees, may you sleep in peace knowing you ruined all those peoples lives.

Spend more on videos and culture BS, focus less on fixing the issues and just look for band-aids that makes management feel good about themselves'. $12 mill in liquidity and $9+ BILLION in debt. Spend your way out of your hole. CHK execs must be all leftys.

Core values don't apply when it benefits CHK to break them. Speak up and you will get a private HR meeting.
