Shouldn't the CEO of IBM focus on other things when she has presided over 20+ quarters of REV and earnings declines?

But what she is not tell you everyone is that the way the laws are written right now if these dreamers stay and become citizens then you will have created a form of amnesty because they will not be able to partition to have their relatives come into the country. The laws need to be changed first before the dreamers are allowed in.

"The company is planning on spending advertising dollars to promote these posts, targeting them to policy makers and 'influencers' in Washington, D.C., Chris Padilla, vice president for the government and regulatory affairs at IBM, told The Hill.

More than that, the company is sending its Dreamers to Washington to talk directly with lawmakers and tell their stories."

So all this expenditure is worth it for just 31 employees or is this just for positive political limelight (It's rhetorical, as the answer is the latter, of course). Considering all the tight budget constraints that we have been abiding by for at least a decade+ and all the thousands of good quality, U.S.-based IBM employees (so certainly almost all would be American citizens) that have been and continue to be RA'd without so much as a care for their well-being and livelihood, seems being a Dreamer employed by IBM provides much more job security than a U.S. citizen. Perhaps Ginni would like to provide the Band levels and salary ranges of these Dreamers and then the same list of U.S.-based IBM'ers that are American citizens in the same role so that all can see why Ginni is truly fighting for these Dreamers: bargain-bin labor of indentured workers.
