Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Paetec is running things - Former Vox/Windstream your days are numbered!

Paetec Upper Management in SD are running things, it is a big buddy systems across the company. All jobs are being transitioned to the Paetec side of the house. They are getting well trained and maneuvering management to assist reps in remote locations until they can complete the planned transitions. The employees left lingering will be laid off or demote THEIR management in order to save their jobs. Earthlink in northern to west coast states are safe, for now, Until Paetec, continuously pull all hands meetings in order to get training on Earthlink Products, then their reps will be gone. To stays safe at this point is to not share any information, in order to secure your job. Otherwise, Paetec and their aggressive leadership will bully until they get the information they need. Paetec is looking for job security, until Windstream goes completely down, in hopes of being bought out then they will jump and destroy another company, it's an on going cycle but buddy system with them. Tony Thomas, CEO which was WS former CFO, understand it nothing but a numbers game, that is why VPs and Dir. are so top heavy and well paid throughout the company. He's happy finally racking in millions and networking with his buddies, until the WS Train wrecks and they are all off to other corporations. For the people at the bottom they don't care about you, you will only work until they no longer need you!

This should be revived. Paetec offices are closing. So much for all the good thought, hopes, and dreams people had!

Some of you seem to take joy in the idea that another person would eventually be let go, I hope that karma plays out well for you. In the meantime, the rest of us continue to read your negative comments and understand exactly why your company decided you didn't need to be there anymore. I hope you take a better attitude into your new jobs and wish you luck in finding them.

Seems like SD and the BST's just want to cry and point the finger. Do you see the Repair team doing that?? No, bc we believe in making the company stronger and better. So what if we hit a bump in the road. We need to trust the leadership and follow their direction, not make things more difficult for all of us. Let's see what we can build together instead of tearing each other down. If you feel like your team isn't there to support you then transfer to another one that will.

Before Windstream bought them, EarthLink was really impressing Wall Street with its revenue growth and stock price, right? Not.

"Or you know, you could do the exact opposite, and be seen as a resource instead of somebody that doesn't know a thing about their job. 4 acquisitions and I'm still here by showing I was valuable, not by hiding in a corner, plugging my ears, and repeating 'la la la la la la' and hoping it'll all go away. Hands down the single worst advice I've ever seen, holy cow!"

I lived through no less then six, and was there from the very beginning. Pack your bags SamWise.... You are a number on a spreadsheet, and la la la la, you will be a number on another soon....

Remember when Jeff decided to leave, and they put up a video of Tony, in his track suit? Gee that was well planned out. I am glad to have the stress of working for this company removed. So glad Tony, got to take his fam, on a well deserved trip to the French Alps, which none of us will ever be able to achieve. Keep working for this company...

Well, if Paetec is, in fact, running things, then I agree; the company's days are numbered.
