Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

TIck Tock Tock Tock so boring

You’d think being once the biggest and most profitable semiconductor could do more than this after knowing 10nm was going to be a FUBAR

Wow six cores what a Gump, more area means lower margins till the 10nm comes ouch

“Fundamentally it might be the same architecture as the processors preceded”

Seems like tiles and bin split on 14+ ain’t that hot, wow is after four years yield still not meeting goal?

Six big cores for what intel is allowed g means margins are low, maybe just limiting them to protect the stock price, where is the 10nm Icing ?

“As it appears, the Core i7-8700K is hard to find. It is not listed on any Amazon local website, which is often not a good sign for overall stock levels. It is possible to pre-order the CPU model from multiple stores across the world, but it looks like their ETA is late-October to early-December, at least for certain stores in Europe. As for online auction sites, there are sellers demanding $800 - $900 per unit.”
