Some people getting that same invite but from other managers (not even their own).
Surprised there was not an announcement.
Is the plan to lay off all these people and then act like nothing happened? smh

It's very likely your manager will be already gone by the time it's your turn

Good on yout. Means your manager is gone and this invite is to inform you who your new manager is.
If you're getting an email from another manager, then that manager is also getting laid off
maybe their managers will be laid off first - hence 'an invite from other manager'
not sure
