Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Dell / EMC Ireland will soon be history

Lay offs is ongoing most jobs are moving to cheaper locations.

India

Romania

Slovakia

Morocco

Singapore

China

  1. I confirm I saw the package few just got and they still got 2+6 weeks per year service.

  2. They got to keep their medical insurance until next year.

  3. They are not allowed to disclose anything to media etc or they breach the agreement and might be requested to refund back

  4. Once you sign the package, you are not allowed to bring up a case against the company, directors, employees of the company or group of companies

They are paying people to keep their mouth shut.

Some has also been brainwashed to post positive feedback on the company.

I can't wait to be offered my pack and I hope it will still be the 2+6 in my turn

EMC was great, DELL is crap

Salary review is worse than it was in EMC

The company will suffer the consequences in the long term in few years time, if it will last...

Rumour is currently it's 4+2 uncapped.

EMC was 6+2 uncapped up till September, but the year is up and it goes to the dell package.

Mr. Dell is in trouble with his company with way too much debt on the books. He is a smart man when it comes to letting the expensive people go and hiring the cheap help. He will save billions of dollars doing this just through salaries each year. Just look at the zzz list for how many are let go each day. It adds up real quick.

I dont think Ireland will be phased out. They are in Icon. Now way to many good people. This is someone talking from 19yrs of experience. Things change but this wont happen

I confirm also currently it's 2 + 6 but I believe it is the last wave at that anyone after will be on 2 + 4

Best tip if you was to be made redundant go to the doctor and get yourself stopped on sick they are also cutt No off those as well as far as I have heard.

They are definitely applying the divideand rule policy here.

Anyone in for creating a united forum for all those impacted? So we can stand better together?

How recent was this package as I'm heading all different rumours.4+2 is what I'm heading and that's on base salary..it has to be done by p60 so the shift has to be included correct? Are dell holding to the 6+2 package aswell
