Posting quality

I duck in and out of here over the course of a week or a month. Yeah, there are trolls and spammers; nothing new here or anywhere else.

But to those who gamely attempt to fill the board with sophomoric posts, you should realize several things:

You'll get deleted. The Admin seems to know who you are and after downing a nice double espresso, boots you to the curb with the flick of a finger. And then takes another delightful sip.
Your posts are weak at best. Middle-school level, maybe. They add no value.
You do not seem to be capable of producing a cogent thought or argument. And when faced with one, you revert back to name-calling or emojis. That's all ya got?

You should note that you are ultimately irrelevant. Your inability to formulate anything interesting is immediately recognizable. And therefore, ignored. Anyone that responds to you in one of your rants ultimately brings themselves down to your level, and will unfortunately render themselves equally irrelevant.

I apologize in advance to the Admin for this post. I understand if you slap me for a few weeks. It's okay.

Remember, everyone, name-calling or derogatory assignments only bring you to the lowest, irrelevant level. Keep it clean. You just look better that way.

Jokes should be good too, including healthy sarcasm

Kudos to Admin as this forum really needs it, booting all or most uncivilized or sick comments or even personal names or secrets leaks! I can imagine that the job is difficult and maybe sub optimal.

A note to improve, there should be legitimate ways to have rational and civilized discussion on politically or emotionally sensitive topics like gender, Indian and similar, as certain aspects are real and this forum could serve well to open such dialogue. I noticed few posts booted just for keyword Indian or URM, which if continued can paint admin as quite biased and hope this taken into account.

You're not going to stop all the heaps of idiots whose bulk of "technical knowledge" comes from those "enthusiast tech websites".

They read stuff on those yellow sites and just come and cut n' paste. What's to stop those? Ban all URL pasting?

OP does more on this board then just duck in and out.

So............... How does spitting into the wind feel? It's no use. This is the most popular board for trolls and you're not going to make them go away with just a post.

Kudos - well said. I am amazed with how much junk trolls post and all time wasted (there is a 60 sec delay between posts) - it makes no sense as all of that is deleted with a single mod click.

I dont get it... At some point trolls go away, mods stay, oh well...

Agree with OP. This is a board for layoffs, not stock prices, random news links or other general trolling. If that’s what you consider fun, get a life. It’s great outside, you should go there.
