Thread regarding Follett layoffs

About ready to leave Follett

I just don't care much anymore, looking at my paycheck, trying to follow directives, stupid QTC tolerance to not get on the red column then running out of books, putting up with HO bs, listening to customers whine, etc.. my passion is gone, realizing Follett does not care about it's hard working employees, time for me to move on.

You are not alone in this, @P5aG7Tb-2dum. They've been killing my desire to stay here slowly for years now, and it's finally reached the point where I simply don't care anymore. And I know a number of people who feel the same. If they continue like this, they will lose their best people. Not that they care, of course.

Incredibly incompetence at this corporation. To say 4 year olds playing in a sandbox would be insulting to 4 year olds.

So bonuses were given to some SELECT employees aka salaried.

Reports state we are below the numbers we should be at!

No Merit increases and rumor is there will be none again come 2018 as promised, has anyone else been told this?

Why were bonuses given if we are under our numbers? Very confused with how Upper mgt thinks.

Blows my mind all the good people Follett has lost in the past few years.

Most of the newbies either work under 8 hours or just don't show up.

Stay woke is reference to the fact you should have been out of here 3 years ago. The behavior your seeing/citing has not changed for three years. If you're counting down to retirement, perhaps you're not woke. You simply see an out. Truth is you've been working for an abusive employer for some time.

Dear 'cry me a river',

Did that, looked at previous years sales, returns, etc., was told to cut qtc', guess what genius, I ran out of books, had to re-order, explain to faculty why not enough books were here, lost sales because of it. So take your nasty river some where else.

It is a horrible place to be. Especially Home Office unless you're management. If the stores only knew what goes on or rather doesn't go on here anymore...

You are not alone. I worked at the home office and feel the same way. Follett has ruined all motivation and employee morale and it isn't coming back.
