Heard that there is a promotion plus focal increase for a selected few, and no increment for the others. Nada, not even a meagre few dollars. How is this fair to all? Management dont know what they are doing any more.

Lay off is inevitable more active investors are buying shares, means more pressure on shares.
Selected few that scores 5/5 on performance ratings. If I were you I would focus on giving results rather than moaning while doing nothing other than 3x tea-break a day.
Politics. Pure politics. Bad for business. Also, discrimination has gone wild at this company.
Show seagate if they don't take care of us we don't take care of the shareholders. That is the only way they will learn. Hurt that bottom line. Sh-- talk the company online and give bad (but honest) reviews of our products.
What is focal increase???
There are always exceptions to the rules and life isn't fair. Didn't your parents ever teach you those facts growing up?
Management who want to take care of their staff, and can justify raise or promotion for selected team members, can get promotions and focal increase approved for the special cases even when the general rule is things are frozen/on hold.
