What is the WFR count in India? Any update on the current status?

The GETC team, reporting team, Portal team, Implemetation manager team (hahhaa .. what is this .. yep it is an incident management team) are all laughing their way to the bank. These are all non-billable roles (these are service roles with DXC, meaning roles billed internally).

These team have no SLA's and no work ethic. Most of them are relative of some manager, etc , mostly women who prefer to work from home. So much for the work ethic.

This has not yet come on the radar of the blind management, thats why technical roles are being fired while these fake roles are enjoying the booty.

GETC (Global Design Team) should go first.. No work at all... Just copy paste and No work for office .. only work for home.

I know some persons in the one-build (projects) team who are on bench since the one-build team started, near about 2 years. in case of 1 person, she does not come to office daily just once in about 2 months. She joined about 3 years back. So you can imagine the planning being done by the so called Delivery /Project managers.

The delivery managers who were promoted and hired in the last 3 years are a real waste of money. They are not involved in billing/accounting and not involved in service delivery. Then what are they involved in ? only hiring and firing

Jump out ! This is real and the tsunami of layoffs is coming out with high ferocity! Now the management is not cared about billing, criticality or loyalty. Long timers of both CSC /HPE are jumping out fast. Indications of a serious problem within DXC. If you are serious about your career and survival , move out and move out fast to watch the organization going to ashes from outside . All the best!!!

As per the India town hall only 400 persons from India were WFR'ed even though it seemed like thousands were WFR'ed. The target till Dec 17 is 20,000.

it will be a continuous process in DXC India as well - redundancies,roles are not defined properly, extra resources after the separation from the product organization, some of the teams are not doing anything and still waiting for projects.... Merger was a disaster...

Heard that the next wave is expected to be 15% work force reduction. Managers are working overtime to meet th numbers but conveniently eating into the flesh of the workforce since the excess fat was already removed in the first quarter. The managers themselves at undergoing lot of stress are they are forced to give names of their key resources to meet the numbers. Expect an very ugly 3rd quarter to invite you with an already beleaguered DXC meeting the stakeholders expectations through the easier short cut. God bless the poor souls that remain in DXC!,
