A manager I know was given the heads up that they themselves are being WFRed 9/22, along with some rank and file staff, of which there are only like 5 left that are US based.

This new company culture is killing me. They are slave drivers. Told them I've burned out, that I am running on empty, no energy left but they just keep pushing for more and more absurd deadlines. I want to take time and do my work well, not just fast with rubbish quality.

I am beginning to hate it here. I may need to leave or I go nuts.

If you ask for VR and get it you can be pretty sure they were going to get shot of you anyway.

The numbers and names are long preset through McKinsey so they already know who is going when they announce a consultation. This is true for Europe in particular.

No harm in asking.

Cyberjaya will be shutdown this December. Better start looking guys. Don't wait until it's too late. Mid November all the notices will be issued out.

Be an average performer and work from home more frequent, the chances of getting selected will be high, especially if you are high pay.

I posted in an earlier thread that Friday 8/25 was the next layoff day. And that proved to be true. So now I predict Friday 9/1 will be next... nice gift to the US workforce to celebrate their Labor Day holiday. And they will not WFR you if you ask. They are more interested in bullying people so will layoff the person who needs the job the most.

1) No. Probably in another two months.

2) You can ask for WFR. But it's unlikely they will give it to you.. As they will want you to leave for free instead of giving you redundancy money.
