Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Any layoffs in US today?

Have there been any layoffs as of yet in the US? Truly sorry for all the people affected. Good luck!

AS UX Principal has been terminated and he was one of the good ones. Sabre is a bunch of fools. Not a great sign for AS as UX is typically a good indicator of future innovation.

I know of 3 top level management positions, VP of EUC, CIO of P&T, and one other.

Also, a handful of employees that have been here for years. Probably due to their salaries being higher with their tenure.

This appears to be mostly based on reducing costs judging by who was cut.

I don't mind getting laid off but atleast they should give better severance package else the brand name will be gone for a toss. No one will never think of working here. Soon you will find many talented chaps quitting because of this.

I sit next to a conference room. The glass has paper tap over it to block the view. About every 15 minutes someone new enters. Bad vibrationsituation ...

Totally agree! We are building an army of arrogant pricks! 1- Have no clue 2 - Dont want to learn. Guess what Sears and Sabre has in common or will be common?

The entire Enterprise Operations top leadership has to go. The outage issue is out of control and the EO SVP and his 2 VP friends that he hired have no clue of what's going on or have any ideas on how to fix things

I heard in the office, 18 percent were VP and above that were laid off. Company wide 9 percent, P&T 1 percent.

Any big dogs (VP and above) impacted at DFW ? That's where the real savings are. Lot of dead wood there.
