I was laid off yesterday. I don't blame anyone. it's the nature of the business. if you look at WD and Samsung quaterly report, their profit hit new highs, Samsung is making a lot more money from their storage and DRAM business, in a sense it has already dominated NAND market (with its technology and quality capability). I hope everyone get affected find something quick, this is definitely a better time than getting laid off in 2008~2009 cycle.

I would guess you're in Corporate Communications then?
i believe it is a ripple effect on the days of RIF , regardless from which department. everyone works together to produce a product, as all these negative news flying out, more and more ppl will have less confident to the branding & its deteriorating in very fast pace since years ago
need more Engineer?
need more IT?
need more HR /TA?
need more Sales?
need more Factory folks?
