Shortel to buy Avaya's Contact Centre Business

I just talk with a friend who works at Reuters and she confirmed that Shortel (with the help of bankers) will be buying Avaya's CC business. This should be come official early next week. Supposedly here are some synergies are expected but know major layoffs expected.

Call Center Elite is unsellable as you would need to buy the intertwined Avaya UC as well (and no one wants that). What I dont know is AACC still sellable on its own or is it too tied to tightly to Aura?

Nonsense. CC is Avaya's most valuable asset. And Shoretel themselves were just purchased by Mitel. Leave the fake new to CNN, kid.
