The shares will drop to 15 and we will still have incapable leaders like CBS around producing content kids don't care about and screwing up media allocation. It;s just the way Mattel rolls.
The ONLY reason Mattel makes a big deal out of user generated content, is that CBS and band of merry men, don't know HOW to create content. It doesn't take a genius to see that The Toy Box TV show was an abomination.

Is fake news poster trying to say this wasteful trip and bad interview video is OK b/c lots of people take unnecessary trips? And that the company's problems are due to its number of offices? Odd logic or trying to change the subject? The posted interview says everything and nothing. Is Mattel's content strategy working?

It's been a bad hire. Content is a disadvantage for the company when its needed most.
Fake news. She had to be there and no mention of airline class. How about look at yourselves? How many unnecessary trips are your teams and people taking/ how many brand/toy people are needed for dying brands? All of you in outside offices- we should shut you down.. that will save $$. This is just plain stupid on her part. When the company is tanking you don't go to Cannes. Companies that are doing well don't allow Cannes. There is nothing you cant get done in LA. With the money spent it probably could have saved a junior position in the company. It's bad self awareness on her part, proving she is not capable of being a senior exec in a company going through a painful transformation.

Of all things to give a hoot about...a sarcastic comment about flight class...no wonder the company is where it is...a nice snapshot of the current culture...hope the CEO reads this but she has to realize the current backbiting culture and lack of leadership is one of the biggest obstacles to any near term success...
