Just heard - ~ 5 in Pune and 45 in Blr getting boot, mainly from Xyratech group. Can someone confirm?

Well, to begin with, shutting down all other sites and making BLR the core design center was a HUGE mistake.
Handled very well by Seagate and the management of the group that was affected. They showed they do care for employee in difficult situation and have given considerable time for people affected. Can't name people who did good...But hope other companies learn from this...
Sandip's entire team to be cut. Overpaid and not delivered anything worthwhile from day 1.
Looks like entire SSG team is gone. Close to 180 people (80 Pune & 100 BLR) affected in India.
