Think it's just bad management to hire a bunch of employees then lay them off a half year later. I get outsourcing is a think, but why are we sending medical records overseas?

Any insight on the IWS employee layoffs (US and Canada)?
With slower or lower than expected revenues are they going to make cuts?
JAX FL business unit is MTS Emergency Medicine....and Idont think they are done...I feel like another hit is coming
Relay overall will lose another ~30. Keep in mind decisions are being made about product lines. So depending on final decisions they may only keep around a maintenance staff.
I am having a hard time comprehending another RelayHealth layoff after last time's significant cut. And people are leaving in droves as it is.
The rest of the business units haven't even started yet. I feel for you all and hope you can bounce back. Posted below to note of mid to late August...looking more like late August - mid September all in rounds of less then 100 at a time so it is not reported in media. Next up: MHS "legacy" products - CXT and Interqual. Any BPS still remaining will be chopped and RelayHealth will get another set of layoffs. Please note this is not even accounting for Emdeon Change employees. I'm not trying to be a jerk by warning all of you each time I want to reiterate importance of your networks and keeping your resume up to date.
which business unit is JAX FL?
Aug 7 ,2017 layoff's began in Jax,FL office,at least 30-40 people...we will see if the rest of make it
I communicated May layoff previously. Expect to see restructuring in mid to late August. RIF to follow in both sides of the house. They are now starting to pick which products live and which get sunsetted to prep for IPO. You will see exodus on the product teams early this month. You'd have to be crazy to stick around in product. Tech teams that are high performance will be repurposed.
