Pontiac

Have all the teams been told that they will be working from home or are they moving to a new building?

This appears to be a unfounded rumor. I have talked to numerous people in different groups and no one has heard this. The only rumor that was mentioned is that some help desk support will be moved to a different location in the Detroit metro area - most likely downtown Detroit.

We are now hearing about 80 percent of the workforce at Pontiac will either be offered to move to a different location like Plano or be WFR'd.. the other 20 percent could be moved to client sites. I guess work from home might not be an option.

The question we need answered for Boise is: are the Pontiac GM people still going to be employed from home using their laptops to work from, OR, are they all going to be WFR'ed, or, as stated previously, move to a different work location?

various call centers is a easy move, just redirect the call .

We don't know yet, but WFH seems like the most logical conclusion. DXC won't be able to procure a new building ready to move in to by the end of the year, plus Lawrie isn't a real estate guy.

The biggest issue will be with the various call centers and IVRs in Pontiac. Those have to be in a central location, and the logistics behind moving them in this short of a time frame must be a nightmare.
