Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

Zero accountability for everybody but reps

They will never be able to rip the bandaid off. The people making the decisions know if a major restructure actually happens, then their jobs and all manager jobs are on the line too.

Soooooo many middle management all trying to save their butts. They know they could never find a job making what they are making, only working 50% (at best) of the time. It's crazy how there is zero accountability at this company outside of the rep level.

My DM/RM literally never go to campus with us or evaluate their teams outside of looking at abismal bookstore order numbers. We get emails and pointless conference calls so they can say they "talk" to us on a weekly basis.

I love all the middle management that posts on that ridiculous Facebook page the 2 times they go to campus with their reps during the semester. They also post their little hearts out when at the NSM and other meetings they attend- other than those times of the year, total blackout silence. All the LOLs.

middle management definitely needs to be trimmed and/or replaced with people actually wanting to work
