PapaFrita....then why are several rooms on July 31st booked in BLD A, B and C from 8am to about 2pm by one person who is in HR???? Don't tell me it Mid Years for lets face it Sabre Managers treat Mid-years like a freaking joke!!!!
@One0Ovr-ydp Hope your information is correct, but I have a feeling it is not, or at least only applies to a certain location. I have seen some signs (won't mention the details so they aren't covered up next time) that something is in the works for July 31st, at least in Southlake. Hope I'm wrong, but don't think so.

Well, Dolly Wagoner Wilkens left. She knew her days are numbered.
It's a numbers game. All employees have been ranked by their bosses. Now it's up to the HR/Legal to get the numbers. They might need only one bottom of the list person from each area or some areas may need to get rid of the both 2 or 3 from some other team. Legal has to be involved so they dont lay off the wrong type of person who can sue for whatever reason. Like if a person just reported their boss for harassment, they cant lay her off now because it would look like retaliation so they have to go to the next on the list.

What is the purpose of a company that knows already who is going to be fired and keeps their employees on suspense ? Is this the way they recognize the hard work ? What a joke !

Update: MVD office meeting: HR manager, AS manager and Sabre Layers right now at Rio de Janeiro meeting room.
So today is 21st... no layoff yet but I can see HR and Legal super team in a tiny conference room right now. They don't look as happy as usual. What I don't understand is the long discussions they have, isn't there a list? They don't know us so I don't think they are going to say "we must save "Jon Snow" from this, he is the best employee we have"
To my knowledge they don't lay off on Fridays - higher risk of employees doing something stupid, so I doubt it.
??? The groups of individuals that seem to "know it all" have been less chatty. Everyone just needs to stay focused on their particular job & if it does come down to more cuts than so be it.
