Missed every opportunity to catch the next big wave because of the x86 arrogance. Truely the best example innovator's dilemma. No question they spend hundreds of billion and missed on all of them!
Across the board at the top of every major org at Intel is a close minded leader of old who can't sense or accept the new time and believes in the rosy forecasts and creates more as that is all their respective boss wants to hear. No real confrontation and challenge anymore!
In BKs reigns you have a track record of empty next big things all discarded for late and overpriced attempt at the next big thing. In each cas hey are late, overpaid and taking the wrong approach. BK ain't exactly one who's resume is littered with amazing brilliance, LOL
There are NO examples of a technology company successive reinventing itself. Intel being led by old and closed minded executives and shackled with x86 myopia is destined at best to decline like IBM has over two decades, at worst implode like Nokia and Blackberry. Or get carved up like Motorolla and AMD was. If 10nm slips as every indication suggest to 2019 then second half of 2017 and 2018 will be a great ACT to watch.
The question for the executives and common folk you want to pray and believe the promises for forecasts that have been wrong for the last 10 years!
