Looks like HMB was right again. Glad I didn't sell my STX stock back in July. Some finance folks now show a buy rating.

Thanks HMB, for making my portfolio great again.

1xew, if you don't have anything constructive to say about the original post (Here's why you should dump Seagate stock) , then you prolly shouldnt say anything at all.

As for how I got to this point in my life... lt was more than likely the constant promotions, raises, steady supply of stock options, RSU's, and praise for going above and beyond. Thanks for asking. You have yourself a good day now.

1xew, here is a list of things of what normal people usually do when visit a page they don't find useful: Hit CTRL+W, and they don't come back.

The ones who continue posting there, calling everyone else immature and trolls, ARE trolls and should definitely ask themselves how they got to this point in their lives.

Heres a complete list of why you should ignore most everything on these sites:

  1. The people here are anonymous and its the internet.

Here's a complete list of what you should do if you work at Seagate and are on this site

  1. Get your rumors from people AT work and fix the problems that you see in front of you, say the hard things in meetings to your managers and be an adult.

...what you should do if you work at Seagate and don't like that option

  1. Quit

...What you should do when you realize that that option doesn't work for you.

  1. Shut up and make Seagate better OR

  2. Shut up and make yourself a more desirable candidate to other companies.

And finally, what you should do if you are previous employee, competitor employee, news person, stock trader... trolling these forums.

Ask yourself how you got to this point in your life, and maybe do some serious thinking about who you want to be.

Here's why you should stick with your post-Seagate job at Target: A company's stock generally goes up after a large layoff. You are either bitter because you are no longer on the receiving end of all the free shares management hands out like Meth to keep you coming to work everyday, or you shorted the stock on the way up to $68 and you had to sell your kids' shoes to buy groceries.
