Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Chapter 7 coming soon

Today, Avaya filed for yet another extension to the deadline for finalizing the C-11 plan with creditors. At this point, it should be obvious to anyone with 1/2 a brain that the creditors want to liquidate. Prolonging the inevitable by delay tactics is irresponsible and misleading to customers, partners, and employees. Give it up, already. Game over.

Oracle is lining up it's UC products w/MS, not Avaya.

Try this:

Search Oracle ACME Aura: =93K hits

Search Oracle ACME LYNC: = almost 300K hits.

As more and more enterprises begin to deploy Microsoft Lync and cloud UC solutions, Oracle SBCs play a crucial role in helping companies transition from legacy voice system to Lync, and can provide the connections between Lync and legacy PBXs.

Having a legacy PBX product which is a contracting business solution really makes no sense at all.
